Ingredients

  • 1/2 medium banana ripe and peeled
  • 1/4 medium organic apple
  • One 1/2 cups organic mixed berries frozen or fresh
  • One handful of organic spinach
  • One tbsp organic peanut butter, unsweetened
  • One cup plant-based milk, unsweetened
  • One tbsp chia seeds or hemp seeds
  • 1/2 cup water
  • One handful ice (optional)

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender, except the water and ice and blend until smooth.
  2. Add the water and blend. Check the consistency and add more water as needed until you reach the desired consistency.
  3. Add ice if you like a cool, slushy-style smoothie.

Substitutions

Use mixed berries or any berries you have on hand or prefer.

Instead of peanut butter, use almond butter or your favorite nut butter.
